The Champions League is the biggest club competition in Europe, making it a great championship to watch live.

Firstly, to be able to play in the Champions League, the best teams from the best leagues in Europe are selected, such as La Liga, Premier League, Bundesliga, among others.

Therefore, it becomes a very competitive competition, as the teams are of the highest level.

How does this championship work?

The Champions League is made up of two stages, the group stage and the knockout stage.

In the group stage, 32 teams that managed to qualify from their leagues for the Champions League are divided into eight groups with 4 teams.

These teams will play two games against each of their group, one of the games being as a visitor and the other as a home team.

Finally, the two teams with the highest score in each group advance to the knockout phase.

Here, again a draw takes place, the 16 teams that passed the stage are divided into two groups, the teams that qualified first, and the teams that qualified second.

The teams that took first place are drawn to face one of the teams that took second place, therefore forming 8 clashes.

These teams will face each other in round-trip games, playing one game at home and one away, in addition, the goals are cumulative.

In other words, if team A wins the first game 2 x 0 against team B, and the second match ends 1 x 0 for team B, in the end, team A wins, since in the aggregate the final score will be 2 x 1 for team A.

The matches follow this logic during the quarters and semis, but the final is decided in a single game.

Who are the teams participating in the championship?
