Group A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal and Netherlands
O A group has as its key head the Qatar national team. As in every World Cup, the host country is always the first in this group, to make the opening game.
Qatar will be playing their first game in the World Cup, so it is difficult to know what to expect from this team, but one thing is certain, if the host team qualifies for the knockout stage playing at home, it will have been the big upset of this group.
The selection of Ecuador will have their third participation in World Cups, and will seek their second qualification for the knockout stage.
It is not considered one of the strong teams in this competition, however, it left world football giants such as Chile and Colombia out of this World Cup.
The main highlight of this team is the player Enner Valencia, the greatest scorer of this Ecuadorian generation.
Ecuador comes to compete for 2nd place in the group, against Senegal, since the giant Dutch team is the big favorite to qualify in 1st place in the group. A group.
The Netherlands team has great players such as Van Dijk, Frankie De Jong and Depay. The orange team is the favorite in this group, which faces teams of lesser technical quality as opponents.
Group B: England, Iran, United States and Wales
England is undoubtedly the favorite in Group B, having a squad full of excellent players, such as striker Harry Kane and the promises of world football, Mason Mount, Phil Foden, among many other football stars.
The team from Iran and the United States will probably compete for 2nd place. Iran is coming off an excellent campaign in the Asian Qualifiers, losing just one of its ten games, while the United States finished last in the group of qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
The big surprise that could happen in this group is if Wales, which after 64 years, returns to compete in a World Cup, manages to prevail over the United States, which is not in a good phase, or over Iran.
Group C: Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland
One of the most undefined Groups of the World Cup, with three teams with similar technical quality, but with Saudi Arabia slightly inferior to its opponents, it will have to pull some tricks out of its sleeve to qualify.
The great Argentina team remains the favorite in Group C, Poland and Mexico are not in a great phase, but considering their history in World Cups, these teams tend to give their opponents a lot of trouble.
Group D: France, Australia, Denmark, Tunisia
This group includes the presence of current champions France, which despite not being in a good phase, is the favorite in the group. It has very important players, such as: Mbappé and Benzema.
The “underdog” of the group is the Tunisian team, which if it manages to overcome one of the two giants, France and Denmark, candidates to qualify for the knockout stages, will be one of the biggest underdogs of this World Cup.
Group E: Spain, Costa Rica, Germany and Japan
This group has two recent champions of the competition, Germany 2014 and Spain 2010, but neither of them is going through a good moment, both teams are having difficulties in restructuring their teams. Even so, they are favorite candidates to qualify for the knockout stage.
Japan and Costa Rica also want their places, and are coming to try to change that. Costa Rica already has an outstanding record in the 2014 World Cup, but after scoring several victories against great teams, no one doubts that the Costa Ricans can do it again.
Group F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco and Croatia
A group with clear favorites, Belgium and Croatia will probably compete for first place, while Morocco and Canada will try to get second place as one of Europe's two giants stumbles.
Croatia and Belgium have been having good campaigns since 2014, but they are always defeated, just a few steps away from winning the title. Canada returns to compete in the World Cup after a long time, their bet is on full-back Alphonso Davies to lead the team in search of qualification. In return, Morocco will bet on players Achraf Hakimi and Hakim Ziyech.
Due to the best moment of the Arab Team, if Canada manages to qualify, it will be the biggest upset in this group.
Group G: Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon
In group G, favoritism is isolated from our selection, with the players having a great moment, our young talents: Vini Jr, Raphinha, Antony and Rodrygo come forward with great boldness. Brazil is the top one team in the FIFA rankings, and all Brazilians already dream of the sixth!
Now, Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon, if favoritism materializes, will fight for 2nd place. Serbia and Switzerland are tough teams, with players of great technical quality.
On the Swiss side, striker Haris Seferovic and Shaqiri are the big bets, while Serbia is counting on center forward Aleksandar Mitrovic to score many goals and help Serbia qualify for the knockout stages.
Cameroon is a good team, but compared to its competitors, they are a few points behind, it will be a big surprise if they get a place in the round of 16.
Group H: Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay and Republic of Korea
Another group with well-defined favorites are the selections of Portugal and Uruguay, who compete for favoritism. With the likely last World Cup for many players from these teams, this group will bring a lot of excitement.
South Korea will bet on its star Son Heung-min, who plays for Tottenham, to try to secure a place in the round of 16 of this World Cup.
Ghana had the misfortune of falling into this group, their competitors are still in a great phase and will not play an easy game, but this team had a difficult classification, and showed a lot of resilience, we will see if they can surprise in this World Cup.
