Without a doubt, the favorite team is the four-time champion United States, which won the 1991, 1999, 2015 and 2019 editions.
The team is no longer the machine it used to be, but it is the biggest champion of the moment and cannot be underestimated.
Another team that is going through a great moment is the Canadian team, which won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics and is looking for an unprecedented World Cup title.
Finally, the Brazilian team is another very strong candidate for the title. After the reformulation led by coach Pia Sundhage, and the recent victory of the Copa América, Brazil is looking for its first title.
What are the biggest teams in the Women's World Cup?
The competition has been taking place since 1991, having had eight editions to date, where the biggest champion is the United States, with four titles.
Next, Germany occupies second place, having won the title twice.
Finally, Japan and Sweden are tied, each having a title for the collection.
How is the Brazilian team doing for this World Cup?
The Brazilian team achieved a great achievement in recent times, winning the Copa América in 2022.
All this, after the major renovation led by technician Pia Sundhage.
Brazil suffered a tough defeat in the 2019 World Cup, and since then, it has been reformulating the team.
Considering the latest results, the changes are having an effect.
The women's team seeks to move up a level, the team always gets closer to the title, but just a few steps away from winning it, it stumbles and loses its chance.
A good sign for this competition is that nine players who participated in the 2019 World Cup will be present in this edition.
This new generation intends to put an end to the “almost”, and bring the biggest football title back to Brazil.
With the defeat of the men's team, the hope of a World Cup title now rests with these stars.
Brazil's first challenges in this World Cup:
Brazil is in group C, therefore, its first opponent will be the winner of the playoff, where it could end up playing against Paraguay, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea or Panama.
