Flamengo is one of the most competitive teams in Brazilian football, always performing well in the main national competitions.

The team has players of the highest quality, such as Everton Ribeiro, Arrascaeta, Pedro, and many others,

High-level players, who were even called up to play in the World Cup.

In other words, Flamengo has a team to win, however, football is not that simple.

It is not enough to have a squad full of stars, many other factors must be considered.

The Rio team is not going through a good phase, the recent change of coaches could end up disrupting some of the team's tactical organization.

Dorival Júnior, the coach who managed to win the Libertadores and the Copa do Brasil, is no longer in charge of the team.

The one who will lead Flamengo in the Club World Cup will be Vítor Pereira, and he will have to do a good job if he wants to reach the final.

The team led by the Portuguese has played five games with the first team so far, but has only won two matches.

The last defeat was against Palmeiras, precisely in the Super Cup final, in a great match between the two teams.

A team needs time to adapt to the new tactics of a new coach, will Vítor Pereira be able to get this team ready by the start of the competition?

Which teams are classified:

So far, the classified clubs are the champions of the following competitions: Libertadores, which is Flamengo, and the champion of the Champions League, which is Real Madrid.

These teams from South America and Europe qualify directly for the semi-finals of the competition.

While the other teams need to go through a pre-competition to form teams that will make up the semifinals.

Flamengo's potential opponents are Wydad AC from Morocco and Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia.

Real Madrid's possible opponents will emerge from the winner between Al Ahly and Auckland City, who will face the Seattle Sounders, the winner of this clash will face the merengue team in the semi-final.

What to expect from Flamengo's opponents in the Club World Cup?

Firstly, Flamengo's opponent will emerge from the clash between Al Hilal and Wydad Casablanca.

Flamengo has two very difficult possible opponents in this first stage.

Wydad has the advantage of being the host of the competition, so they will play at home with all the pressure from the fans in their favor,

So Flamengo should expect a very tough game against this opponent, however, it all depends on how the Rio team will react to the fans against, if the team adapts well, has a better squad, and has a good chance of taking home the victory .

The other opponent, Al Hilal, was Flamengo's opponent in the 2019 competition, where the Rio team started losing, and managed to turn things around in the second half, winning 3-1.

Even so, the game was very competitive, in addition, the players Michael and Cuellar, who were once on the Flamengo team, now defend Al Hilal, Flamengo will not have an easy life.

However, Mengão's squad this year has more tactical options, and a more mature team, and if they already won in 2019, they are very likely to get past these opponents without any major problems.

Finally, Flamengo's biggest challenge in the Club World Cup is Real Madrid, the champion of the Champions League, Europe's biggest competition.

Real Madrid will face the winner of the first phase and quarter-final clashes, but the Spanish team is expected to qualify for the final without any major problems.

This club has great stars of world football, and arrives as favorite for this competition.

This team does represent a great challenge for Flamengo, will the club pull a rabbit out of its hat in this final?
