After years of preparation, Tite put together a team with very experienced players to compete in Qatar.

Among the 26 called up, at least 10 have already been to at least one World Cup and all this experience from Brazil can be combined with the youth of our boys.

We have somewhat experienced players, that is, they have already been to at least one World Cup, and we have true veterans who have been to three or four World Cups, check out the names.

Thiago Silva and his fourth World Cup

The 38-year-old player arrives for his fourth Cup. He participated in the campaigns of 2010, 2014, 2018 and now in 2022.

In history, only seven players have played in four World Cups.

The player could still go down in history as the player to wear the captain's armband most times for Brazil. The current record is held by Cafu, who used it in 11 World Cup games, Thiago Silva has already used it in eight.

The defender's call-up was highly contested, due to his age, however, the athlete said in an interview:

“This year I played more than 50 games, practically all of them exceeding 90 minutes. It means I'm at that level and I have another year on my contract with one of the biggest clubs in the world, Chelsea.”

At the moment, the player is having a good season with the English team and seems not to have felt the criticism. And this is how Brazil's most experienced player for this World Cup appears.

The Duo Ney and Dani in their Third World Cup

The two players with the most experience, after Thiago Silva, are: Neymar and Daniel Alves.

Neymar participated in the 2014, 2018 and now 2022 World Cups, and Daniel Alves in 2010, 2014 and 2022.

The team's number 10 will play in his third World Cup, however, in 2014 he was injured in the 5th game, leaving a void in relation to this campaign.

Neymar is one of the most experienced in the Brazilian team, and is also the biggest name among the players.

He has been having a great campaign this year, he already has 13 goals and 9 assists in 28 matches for Paris Saint Germain, numbers that the star has not reached since injuring his ankle.

He brings with him the weight of never having won this title, and he needs it more than ever, if he wants to be placed on the shelf with the list of Brazilian stars such as: Ronaldo Fenômeno, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, and even come closer to what Pelé did.

Menino Ney, who now carries the hope of an entire nation, is going to his last World Cup to bring sixth to Brazil.

Daniel Alves' call-up was heavily criticized by fans, as the player is 39 years old and plays for a team with little prestige.

What concerns everyone is his physical conditioning, since due to the position he plays, he needs to run long distances at great speed, having to participate both offensively and defensively.

Dani and Ney make up the 2nd placed duo, in our ranking Brazil's most experienced players in this World Cup.

In third place are the players who participated in Brazil's campaign in the Russian Cup, and returned to try to win again in Qatar.

They are: Alisson, Ederson, Danilo, Marquinhos, Casemiro, Fred and Gabriel Jesus.

These are the third placed in our ranking of most experienced players, check out some information about the stars.

Gabriel Jesus

Starting with him, Gabriel Jesus, much criticized in his last performance for Brazil in 2018. He was the first number 9 in the Brazilian team to not score goals in the group stage of the World Cup.

A player doesn't just have good times, despite the campaign in Russia, he was a fundamental player in Brazil's Copa América win in 2019.

This year everything is different, the player appears to have “changed” his style of play. Stopping being a traditional center forward to playing more like a false 9, thus creating more plays for his teammates.

Allison and Ederson

Allison and Ederson haven't appeared much in world football in recent years, they haven't been playing extraordinary games, however, they maintain their good form.

Marquinhos

Marquinhos is one of the defenders who will make up our team, probably alongside Éder Militão.

The player is a very trusted player for Tite, and even though he plays as a defender he is very strong in area plays, he is the coach's bet to score goals from set pieces.

Danilo

On the direct flank comes Danilo, at 31 years old, the player will compete for the starting line-up with veteran Daniel Alves. As demonstrated by the last few games, the person who should start in the main team should be himself, Danilo.

Casemiro

Casemiro, the midfielder who has been an absolute starter since Tite took over the Brazilian team, comes to compete for the World Cup for the second time.

He, who won his 5th Champions League, brings much more experience than just two Cups, he brings the baggage of being Europe's greatest champion several times.

Fred

Midfielder Fred is the “balance of the team”, as the coach says, he is responsible for assisting the attack, maintaining marking in midfield so as not to leave the defense unprotected.

The player was not very well accepted by the fans, but it is clear that he plays a very important role in connecting the midfield.

With these veterans, Brazil will go to the World Cup. However, experience is not everything, which is precisely why the coach also took great promises from Brazil to Qatar. See our article below.
