What is Carioca live?

The Campeonato Carioca, or Cariocão, as it is also known, is the biggest football competition in Rio de Janeiro.
In it, the 12 best teams from across the state come together to compete for the title.
The competition originated in 1979, with the union of the Campeonato Carioca and the Campeonato Fluminense, which were organized by two different federations.
How does this championship work?
The Carioca Championship is divided into two phases, the points phase and the knockout phase.
Firstly, the 12 teams face each other in single games, that is, the 12 teams will play 11 games until they face each opponent once.
This first stage follows the rules of running points, therefore, the team that wins gets three points, whoever draws gets only one, and the team that loses gets no points.
At the end of the 11 rounds, the four teams with the most points move on to the knockout stage.
At this stage, the teams face each other in round-trip eliminatory games, a semi-final and a final to decide the grand champion.
