The first clash of this stage will be between Palmeiras and the team from São Bernardo, will Palmeiras confirm their favoritism or will they face an upset in Paulistão?
The Palmeiras team had a very solid group stage, leading the competition from start to finish, while São Bernardo faced several difficulties, but got there.
The teams face each other this Saturday for the first place in the semifinals of the Campeonato Paulista.
Corinthians x Ituano – Sun (12/03) at 16:00
Timão will have to face Ituano, who thrashed rival Santos, in the last game for Paulistão.
The Corinthians team is going through a great phase, however, Renato Augusto, one of the club's main players, was injured, and Ituano has been showing its strength.
Another semi-final with a big favorite defined, Timão went through with a great campaign, on the other hand, Ituano qualified in the last place, even so the team will fight to beat the favorite.
Bragantino x Botafogo SP – Sun (12/03) at 7:30 pm
Another great clash for Paulistão, one of the two teams will be left out of the next phase.
Bragantino achieved a higher classification than the opponent, and is also the favorite, however, the favoritism is not as great as the two teams above.
Due to the slightly superior squad, and the advantage of playing at home, Bragantino comes out ahead, but anything can happen in this competition.
São Paulo x Água Santa – Mon (13/03) at 8:00 pm
Finally, once this quarter-final round of Paulistão has concluded, São Paulo will face off against Água Santa.
São Paulo had a great campaign, after last year's runner-up, Rogério Ceni's team was not messing around.
On the other hand, Água Santa also surprised everyone, having the same score as São Paulo, only being behind due to goal difference.
