The last game of the group stage took place on this 13th day of the World Cup, and all the teams that will face each other in the round of 16 have already been defined.

On the day of defining groups G and H, some more surprises happened. Brazil suffered a tough defeat to Cameroon and Portugal lost to South Korea.

The last round of the group stage defined the seeding for the round of 16 once and for all.

With the end of this stage, it was decreed: none of the teams managed to win the first three games. France and England had this chance, but ended up failing, in addition to Brazil and Portugal, who could also have achieved this feat, however, they lost.

The South Koreans ended up surprising everyone and beating Portugal, and the victory ended up placing South Korea in second place.

The day has already started with a lot of excitement! With the definition of group H, Ghana and Uruguay were in a direct dispute for the second place spot, counting on South Korea's defeat to the undefeated Portuguese team.

Portugal started going forward, and Korea, lowering the marking lines to defend themselves.

In the 70th minute, the Koreans went for it all or nothing, as a 1-1 score would eliminate the team.

The goal came at 46 of the second half. The team's star, Son, managed to start a counterattack, giving a beautiful pass for his teammate Hwang to score the winning goal.

With this turnaround that will go down in cup history, South Korea managed to qualify and will play against Brazil in the round of 16.

In a direct confrontation for the place, in the end, none of the teams came out victorious, the Koreans passed and took 2nd place.

Ghana only needed to draw to qualify, so Uruguay was the one going strong.

However, Ghana had the first big opportunity, with a penalty in their favor, but the chance was wasted and the game continued.

The game was well balanced, with good chances for both sides, but the Swiss started better.

In the 20th minute, after a cross, Shaqiri hits the corner and opens the scoring.

Soon after, Mitrovic didn't let it go, and in a counterattack he received a good high ball and tied the game with a header.

A few minutes later, Vlahovic, when the Swiss defense made a mistake, took advantage to turn the game around.
