The ninth day of the World Cup had a few more teams classified in advance, and Portugal and Brazil placed their names in the round of 16.

In Group B, Cameroon and Serbia faced off against the losers. The European team managed to stay ahead, but did not count on Cameroon's momentum. The game ended in a draw, which was bad for both sides.

Ghana achieved its first victory in this World Cup and came in 2nd place in the group, however, it faced Uruguay in its last round, in a direct confrontation for the place.

South Korea started well in the World Cup, after drawing with Uruguay. If Ghana were to beat, they would practically qualify but, with the stumble, they depend on a victory against Portugal.

An important match for both teams, as both teams suffered a defeat in the first game.

Cameroon was “almost” against Switzerland, while Serbia failed to show its football against Brazil. See how this confrontation for the Group G spot went.

Serbia used a good exchange of passes to involve the Cameroonians and start the game better. The first two good chances came with Mitrović, one of which he hit the post, and the other he missed a goal that could have changed the game.

Even with the initial pressure from the Serbs, Cameroon scored first and, from a corner, Castelletto headed the goal.

Even before the end of the first half, Serbia turned the game around, scoring two goals in stoppage time, one with Pavlovic with a header, and the other with a beautiful shot by Sergej.

The second half returned with Serbia still dominating the game and already scoring goals.

In a beautiful exchange of passes in the Cameroon area, Mitrović finally scored his goal.

It seemed like the game was over, however, the Cameroon coach put on his number 10, Aboubakar, and everything changed. 

With an incredible sense of the offside line, the player receives a throw in the 63rd minute and scores a brilliant goal, putting his team back in the game.

A few minutes later, the player threw himself behind the marker, where he managed to receive another long pass. However, this time, he made the pass that left Choupo-Moting in front of goal, and he tied the match.

Even with the incredible game, the result was not good for any of the teams, who were left with just one point.

Brazil qualified, and with these two teams stagnating, Switzerland can afford to draw the next match and still qualify.

Ghana managed to take an advantage and placed in Portugal in group H. Now, the team only depends on itself and beating Uruguay guarantees its place in the knockout stages.

Ghana started better than the Koreans and gradually arrived. They managed to score the first goal at 23 with Salisu's header and at 33 Kudus also scored with a header.

Korea came back better in the second half, arriving with great danger with the ball thrown into the area.

After a weak first half, the Koreans' first good arrival was with Gue-Sung, who headed strong, but was stopped by the goalkeeper. 

South Korea's number 9 performed very well in the following moves, in fact, he headed the ball twice more, scoring both goals to tie the game.

But as football has things like that, a few minutes later, Kudos scored after a light cut by his teammate, and put an end to the South Koreans' party.

With this result, South Korea is in a bad position in the table, depending on a victory over Portugal to try to qualify.

Highlights for midfielder Bruno Guimarães, who entered the game and greatly increased the offensive of the Brazilian team, which suffered from the lack of Neymar.

With the 1-0 victory, Brazil reached the round of 16 and will play Cameroon on Friday, without worrying about winning.

The duel between the favorites from group H ended with Portugal's early classification, which now only plays against South Korea, without the obligation to take the match.

It was a very busy game with both teams playing very offensively.

Portugal managed to reach better aerial balls, but spent the first half without being able to attack the opponent's goal.

On the other hand, Uruguay abused individual plays. Midfielder Betancour almost scored a great goal, after dribbling past two defenders, but was stopped by goalkeeper Bravo.

Portugal dominated at the beginning of the second half. After 53 minutes, Bruno Fernandes crossed into the area for Cristiano Ronaldo to head home, but the number 7 did not reach the ball but, even so, the ball was missed by the goalkeeper.

Uruguay created little, until the entry of Arrascaeta, who organized the midfield and the celestial team reached the opponent's goal, but without goals.

Near the end, Gimenez touches the ball with his hand, resulting in a penalty for Portugal. Bruno Fernandes, the scorer of the first goal, hits and scores again.

With this defeat, Uruguay has a huge weight on its shoulders and will have to seek victory against Ghana.
