Tunisia x Australia

With the victory over Tunisia, Australia reaches three points and is only behind France, with a good chance of qualifying.

Tunisia, at the moment, depends on different combinations of results to stay alive in the competition.

So, let's look at the details of the first match of the seventh day of the World Cup.

The match started with Tunisia playing deeper, while Australia went forward using aerial balls as their main weapon.

However, the Tunisians concede a goal on the counterattack shortly after taking the initiative to go forward.

At 22 in the first half, on a cross made by Goodwin, Duke headed the ball towards the goal.

At the end of the first half, Tunisia had a great opportunity to tie the game. After a throw-in, Drager's shot threatened the opponent's goal, but was blocked by the defender.

In the second half the roles were reversed. With the African country's tactical changes, the team became more offensive, while the Australians closed in to hold on to the result.

Even so, Tunisia only managed good chances at the end of the game, but failed to score.

Now the team is in a very difficult position in the table and is not just depending on itself to advance.

Poland vs Saudi Arabia

A very important game for defining the group's teams, where Saudi Arabia, after beating Argentina, was in first place and, if they beat Poland, would qualify.

Poland, on the other hand, was coming off a draw, so winning was essential to continue with good chances.

Saudi Arabia started the game better, achieving good offensive construction and, after 12 minutes, almost scored a goal with Kanno. However, one of the protagonists, Szczesny, Poland's goalkeeper, saved his team.

After that, the Poles dominated the game. After a good throw, Zielinski manages to beat the marking and open the scoring.

But before the first half ends, Al-Shehri ends up suffering a penalty, but again Szczesny appears and saves, keeping his team at an advantage.

The Saudis arrived very well once again before the end of the game and, with a beautiful exchange of passes, the player Buraikan came out in front of the goal and shot wide.

Finally, after a mistake in the Saudi Arabian defense, Lewandowski took advantage of the mistake and sent it into the goal. This is the first time that the center forward has scored in a World Cup.

With the chance of qualifying wasted by the Arab country, Poland took advantage and returned to a comfortable position in the table.

France x Denmark

In this game, the French team managed to secure the first place in the knockout phase of the World Cup in advance.

However, it wasn't that easy, after all the game was very competitive, where the goals only came at the end of the match.

France started the game creating more. At 20 minutes into the first half, Rabiot headed a ball from close range, but an excellent save prevented Schmeichel from scoring.

In response, before the end of the first half, Denmark came with everything to score, but striker Cornélios sent it out and kept the score at 0-0.

The first goal only came at 60. Mbappé, in a team with Theo Hernandez on the left, managed to score and open the scoring for the current Champion.

France was ahead for a short time. Right after the goal, in a cross, the Danish Christesen headed the ball to leave everything equal on the scoreboard.

Luckily, Le Bleus has an exceptional player in number 10. Almost at the end of the game, Griezmann crosses into the box and Mbappe scores, guaranteeing early classification.

Mexico x Argentina

A very important game for Argentina, if they lost or drew, the two-time World Cup champion was at serious risk of being left out of the next phase.

Mexico was looking for a draw, with a squad of less tactical power, and getting a point against los hermanos would already be of great importance.

But Argentina played with everything they had, especially the one who carries the number 10 on his back, Lionel Messi, who only cares about one title, the World Cup trophy.

Even with Argentina's victory, it was Mexico who started the game better, and they had the biggest scoring chance in the first half.

With a free kick close to the area, they sent the ball towards the corner, but the Argentine goalkeeper, in a great save, avoided the goal.

Argentina only started to loosen up in the second half, when in the 62nd minute, Messi received a ball in front of the Mexican goal and released a bomb into the goalkeeper's left corner, putting Argentina in front.

And soon after, he did it again, with a beautiful pass to Correa, who cut through the Mexico defender and shot into the box, leaving Argentina 2-0 ahead.

With this score the game ended, and Argentina only depends on it to qualify against Poland in the next game.
